Trenton Water Works (TWW) is hosting Public Education Forums across the service area to answer customer questions about drinking water quality, water utility infrastructure and the Lead Service Line Replacement Program. The goal of the Public Education forums is to provide a platform for TWW customers to receive information about their drinking water directly from TWW representatives.
The Q&A session features a variety of experts that are available to answer questions on the TWW water treatment process, lead in drinking water, the water utility’s corrosion-control strategy and it’s Lead Service Line Replacement Program. Residents attending the forums will also have access to several informational booths where they can ask questions about any of these topics on a one on one format. A GIS mapping system with TWWs’ inventory of lead service lines will also be available for residents to view. This can be used to determine if TWWs’ records indicate that a lead service line exists on a particular property.
Residents will be able to sign up to for the Lead Service Line Replacement Program at the forums. They will also be able to sign up to receive alerts from the TWW-Connects Water Quality Information System.
